( CHARACTER INFORMATION )

Name/Work Name: Frisk [[Grit]]
Canon: Undertale
Canon Point: The Good End; though how many ends have come before it is the real question.
AU/CRAU: No.
Age: Eight.
History: A pretty good wiki summary is here, however, the game itself lends to a lot of interpretation. It's questionable just how many times Frisk has been through the same events over and over, and canonly, Frisk can be blatantly reset at least once after the 'final boss' in an effort by the antagonist to seize the true power they desire.

It is also strongly supported by the change in dialogue that occurs when the player resets. At any point during Frisk's journey, restarting will cause the other characters to respond to them differently; as if Frisk's reactions themselves are different.

With these points taken into consideration, Frisk would be fully aware of the Neutral route and True end, as well as have a questionable amount of resets under their belt.

Personality: Frisk begins their journey genderless. And whilst this pretty much falls under the 'cool trick to make the protag relate to anyone, bro' category, it is, in essence, the beginning and end to Frisk's personality. Frisk is to a fault, a child that is easy to relate to. Quiet, they aren't so much mute as someone who chooses not to speak often, as more likely than not, they come across people more than willing to cover both sides of the conversation.

When they do speak, however, their personality does shine through. Frisk has a certain amount of cheek to them from the get go, brazenly flirting with characters to gently complimenting frogs in a rather ironic fashion. It's clear from this and the options of questions that the player is provided (such as "how to get out of the RUINS" to Toriel in the beginning stage) that Frisk is a very frank, forward character. It's very possible at such an influential age that Frisk simply does as they see others do- make jokes, be honest, and care for others; to the radical extent of refusing to fight simply because one person told them not to.

Frisk takes in what others say or do to a frighteningly literal degree. From the suggestion of a frog to "SPARE them", to Sans' advice on 'blue attacks', Frisk does- as a child would do. What they're told. And with a very strong sense of determination, they stick to those initial values that others bestow upon them through the most extreme of situations.

The most defining feature of Frisk, however, is their determination. As much as it is a gimmick played upon by the game, Frisk is unerring in their quest to return home, as well as spare the monsters around them...and even make friends. It's this determination that allows a small child to traverse dark, empty caverns on their own, to make friends with the monsters who previously attempted them harm, and to care about the lives of every creature they meet so strongly that they refuse to perish every step of their journey.

Debt: Frisk has been through the underground so many times at this point that a happy ending just isn't happy enough. What if it all does reset. What if they do wake up in that flower patch again? Frisk's anxieties stem less for themselves than they do for the people around them; the monsters that have slowly become their family over the duration of their journey.

They just want...them all to have a Good time. So of course a nice witch would be happy to ensure that things never reset again, right?

Plus...they can still feel their sins crawling on their back.

Inventory:

Clothing/Weapons:
⚹One purple striped jumper (undeniable proof of childhood)
⚹One set of pants (they're just regular, old pants)
*One set of sneakers (a little scuffed, but still good)
⚹Heart Locket (it says "best friends forever")
⚹Stick (it's bark is worse than it's bite)

Miscellaneous:
⚹One mobile phone
One happy photo (not that it'll do you any good here)
⚹One slice of butterscotch pie (mom made it for you)
⚹One snowman piece (a promise is a promise)
*Legendary Hero (a sandwich in the shape of a sword)
*Last Dream (it's been carefully glad-wrapped...)
⚹Dog residue (glowing crystals secreted by a dog)

Abilities:
⚹You are DETERMINED. Frisk has the ability to go back to a 'SAVE' at their time of death and continue their story unhindered; this ability extends to a full 'RESET' of the timeline so far, taking along everyone's memories with it. Mostly.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

⚹You are a PACIFIST. Frisk is so pro-everything that they gently pet vegetables. This turns into a sincerely odd strength because;
⚹You are VERY GOOD AT GETTING TO PEOPLE. Dumb luck or keen perception; either way, Frisk is very well equipped at getting foes to stop focusing on them, and start focusing on themselves.
⚹You are KIND. Even to the most undeserving, Frisk takes the time to learn their story; or maybe they just sort of stand around until their foe blurts it all out. At the end of the day, Frisk is capable of doing for others what most of them are incapable of doing for themselves- being a friend, and forgiving them.
⚹You are a HUMAN. Particularly in Frisk's world, being human is a huge point of advantage. Their soul is a great deal stronger than monsters, and if Frisk was that kind of 'chara', everyone would be having a very Bad Time.
⚹You are DETERMINED. Frisk faces hardships very well for their age, not particularly faltering when it comes to exposure to the new or strange. This makes them a very adaptable character who can look out for themselves; no matter the situation, they won't give up.

⚹You have NOODLE ARMS. Even if Frisk had to fend for themselves, they just can't. They're eight. Speaking of
⚹You are SO SMOL, WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE? Frisk is eight. 'Nuff said.
⚹You PROBABLY TAKE PEOPLE'S ADVICE TOO LITERALLY. Being eight leaves one at a bit of an age where what people say and do matters a whole lot more than it should. Frisk can and will take things at face value, sometimes; especially when it comes to subjects they really know nothing about. flirts..?
⚹You PUT OTHERS FIRST TO THE 'NTH DEGREE. Frisk is used to the ability of coming back even after the worst of beat downs, and in this way, as well as just being a smol child, the idea of being injured or even dying is ludicrous, especially when putting oneself in danger to help someone out. What are you even talking about they're eight they're immortal. Possibly. Not really. This could cause some problems.
⚹You MIGHT POSSIBLY BE POSSESSED BY THE SPIRIT OF A CHILD WHO WANTS TO SLAUGHTER EVERYONE. Which kind of sucks, to be honest. and probably won't be happening in this game ever since, hey, still a playable character. But a weakness all the same.
